Description
SNAP-8 is an elongated analogue of the popular hexapeptide Argireline®. This synthetic peptide is designed to reduce the depth of wrinkles caused by facial muscle contractions. By mimicking the N-terminal end of SNAP-25, it competes for a position in the SNARE complex. When this complex is destabilized, neurotransmitter release is attenuated, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance without the need for invasive procedures.
