Description
ARA-290 is a synthetic peptide derived from the structure of erythropoietin (EPO). Unlike EPO, ARA-290 does not stimulate red blood cell production. Instead, it selectively targets the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR), which is expressed following tissue injury. Its primary research application focuses on its powerful neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory properties, specifically in treating neuropathic pain and small fiber neuropathy associated with sarcoidosis.
