Frequently asked questions
Reconstituted peptides: • Store in the fridge (2–8 °C) • Ideally use within 4 weeks • Protect from light Lyophilised (powder) peptides: • If used within 12 months: fridge is acceptable • For longer-term storage: freezer recommended • Avoid unnecessary temperature change cycles Bacteriostatic water: • Can be stored at room temperature • A cupboard is ideal.
A video guide is available on our website, along with the step-by-step guide below. STEP 1: GATHER SUPPLIES You will need: Peptide vial Bacteriostatic water Syringes Alcohol wipes Ensure all items are clean and laid out on a sanitised surface. STEP 2: OPEN VIAL TOPS Carefully remove the protective caps from both the peptide vial and the bacteriostatic water vial. Do not remove the rubber stoppers. STEP 3: SANITISE Use alcohol wipes to clean the rubber stoppers on both vials. Allow them to air dry briefly. STEP 4: DRAW WATER Insert the syringe into the bacteriostatic water vial, hold it upside down, and draw the required amount of water (mL) into the syringe as instructed. STEP 5: INSERT NEEDLE Hold the peptide vial slightly sideways and gently inject the water down the side of the vial, not directly onto the powder. STEP 6: DISSOLVE PEPTIDE Gently roll the vial between your fingers for 5–10 seconds. Place the vial back in the fridge for approximately 15 minutes, until the powder is completely dissolved. STEP 7: STORAGE The peptide must remain cold at all times. Once reconstituted, the solution should be as clear as water, with no visible powder particles. Once clear, it is ready for use.
Bacteriostatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which prevents bacterial growth and allows peptide solutions to remain sterile for up to 28 days. Benefits include: • Reduced contamination risk • Longer usable lifespan • Greater peptide stability • Ability to make multiple withdrawals from one vial Sterile water contains no preservative and should be used immediately after reconstitution.
Third-party testing provides independent, unbiased verification of a peptide’s authenticity, purity, and safety. These tests are performed by external laboratories with no vested interest in the outcome, eliminating internal bias. This helps prevent: • Mislabeled peptides • Impurities • Counterfeit products • Inconsistent batch quality It ensures the product contains exactly what is stated on the label.
