DESCRIPTION 
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and a selective agonist of the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor. It is recognized in clinical research for its ability to stimulate the anterior pituitary gland to release growth hormone (GH) without significantly affecting other hormones such as cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH. This high level of selectivity distinguishes it from earlier generations of GH-releasing peptides (GHRPs). Originally investigated for its potential in treating postoperative ileus and growth disorders, it is now a primary subject in studies concerning metabolic optimization and age-related physiological decline.
