BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide composed of 15 amino acids. It is a partial sequence of a "body protection compound" discovered in and isolated from human gastric juice. It is widely researched for its potent regenerative and cytoprotective (cell-protecting) properties.
How it Works
BPC-157 works by accelerating the body’s natural healing processes through several pathways:
-
Angiogenesis: It promotes the formation of new blood vessels, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to damaged tissues.
-
Nitric Oxide Regulation: It modulates the nitric oxide system, which helps control blood flow and protect the lining of the gut and blood vessels.
-
Growth Factor Stimulation: It triggers the expression of specific growth hormone receptors, specifically helping tendons and ligaments repair themselves faster.
-
Anti-Inflammatory: It helps stabilize the inflammatory response, reducing pain and swelling in injured areas.
Research Findings
-
Tissue Repair: Extensive animal studies show BPC-157 can significantly speed up the healing of "tough" tissues like tendons, ligaments, and muscle tears.
-
Gut Health: Research suggests it is highly effective at treating inflammatory bowel conditions (like Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis) and healing stomach ulcers.
-
Neuroprotection: Emerging studies indicate it may help protect brain tissue and improve the recovery of the central nervous system after injury.
-
Systemic Healing: Unlike many compounds that only work locally, BPC-157 has shown the ability to promote healing throughout the entire body, regardless of where it is injected.
Reconstitution & Dosing Protocol
To prepare a 10mg vial of BPC-157, follow these instructions for a simple, daily routine.
1. Preparation (Reconstitution)
-
Gently inject 3ml of Bacteriostatic Water into your 10mg vial of BPC-157.
-
Let the water tricke slowly down the side of the glass to avoid damaging the peptide.
-
Do not shake the vial. Gently swirl it until the powder is fully dissolved into a clear liquid.
-
Once mixed, the vial must be stored in the refrigerator at all times.
2. The Daily Dosing Method (Subcutaneous Injection)
-
Frequency: Inject once per day at a consistent time.
-
Administration: Use a standard U-100 insulin syringe. Inject into the fatty tissue (usually the stomach area or near the site of injury).
The Protocol (Gradual Approach):
-
Weeks 1 to 2 (Loading Phase): Draw the liquid to the 6 unit mark on your insulin syringe and inject once daily. (This equals 200mcg).
-
Weeks 3 to 4 (Step-up Phase): Draw the liquid to the 12 unit mark on your insulin syringe and inject once daily. (This equals 400mcg).
-
Weeks 5 to 12 (Maintenance Phase): Draw the liquid to the 18 unit mark on your insulin syringe and inject once daily. (This equals 600mcg).
